I was asking hubby what are the uses of air compressor and he gave an example like the one he’s using for air brush paintings he did only it was smaller in size compared to the  regular ones  we see everyday that were used for things that need high to moderate supplies of  pressurized air like vulcanizing of tires, air-cons, oxygen tanks, liquified petroleum gas (LPG) and pneumatic tools like the one hubby is using and power tools for  construction.

Some of the samples for this power tools are:

• Air impact wrench
• Air ratchet
• Airbrush
• Blow Gun
• Jackhammer
• Pneumatic angle grinder
• Pneumatic drill
• Pneumatic jack (device)
• Pneumatic nail gun
• sandblaster
• Paint sprayer
• Tire Chuck or Inflator

For big applications, there are two types of air compressor’s pump, the oil-less and the conventional that uses compressor oil (oil-lubed). The oil-less though is more expensive and not as durable as the oil-lubed compressor but delivered a cleaner air.  For people who prefer a do-it-yourself home improvement projects like repairs, remodeling, modifying or building items like shelves and cabinets by using their innate skills or getting tutorials from professionals, more or less air compressor is already a part of their building tools. And most likely are very familiar with all the air compressor parts that if in case it breaks down, they already knew where or what the problem is.

I’m a fan of home-improvement shows on TV like Clean House, Carter Can, Extreme  Home Make-over and many more. Watching them renovate the house or make new cabinets and storage from piled up woods in the backyard  or refurbish old furniture to make it look brand-new. It seems very easy to build them with the power tools they use, but of course if you are not a professional carpenter, you still need some guidance, especially the safety precautions in handling those power tools like wearing protective glasses to shield the eyes from flying debris when sowing woods or dismantling old cabinets and furniture. All in all it’s safety first above everything.
