When the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton took place, it is not only the wedding dress that became an inspiration to those who are getting married but also their wedding cake and the whole event itself. It became an instant celebrity wedding inspiration just like the wedding of Prince William’s famous parents, Lady Diana and Prince Charles. Where the couple wants to experience a fairytale-like wedding, be like a prince and princes same as in the fairytale book, just as those who fantasize about a rock-themed wedding and become rock star couple.. lol..

Next month will be start of the ‘ber’ months, that means holidays are just around the corner. Time really flies so fast, next thing we knew we were cramming to prepare for the holidays. Foods, gifts, events, parties… whew. Anyways, before we go on. Halloween is beginning to be part of the celebration, whereas before we only saw them on foreign TV shows and movies. As this foreign tradition started creeping into our social events, then might as well make the most of it. Found this cute spooky cake in the net, you can prepare or buy/order during a Halloween party as halloween prop, a sure winner for kids’ and guests’ delight.

This is my second time to attend the SM Hypermart Master Chefs Cooking Marathon, the first one was the opening leg of this year’s event held last July in Cubao, Quezon City. This time it was Chef Jon Uy who made the cooking demo of three different recipes using Magnolia food products at SM Hypermart in Fairview, Quezon city which is nearer to my place. In the audience, they invited students and teachers of Tala High School and some shoppers to watch and learn some of Chef Jon’s special recipes. To make the cooking demo more lively, Chef Jon invited some of the guests to participate and they gladly obliged.

The recipes are for :  Chicken and Mushroom Baked Rice, Peaches and Cream Caramel Triple, Star Ranchero Rice and Cheesy Hotdog and Fries Overload which is very filling.
