Left overs cooked in mushroom sauce


Our left-over food last Christmas eve, fried chicken and roasted pork belly. My hubby concocted his own recipe to make a new dish out of this two left-overs.

left over chicken and pork, cut into small pieces
1 onion chopped
1 tsp. garlic minced
1 can mushroom
1 can cream of mushroom sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1 bell pepper cut into strips
1 tbsp, butter

Saute garlic and onion in the butter, use medium heat to avoid burning the butter. Add bell pepper and the meat. Cook until lightly brown. Add mushroom and cream of mushroom sauce. Simmer until the sauce thicken and creamy, add salt and pepper to taste. Now no food has gone to waste.
