[Egg roll Wrapper] Balat ng Lumpia

If you want to make your own lumpia wrapper, this kind of wrapper is not usually available in the market like the white lumpia wrapper


1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 shortening
1 egg white
2-3 tbsp. ice water

1. Mixed flour and salt in bowl. Work in shortening with finger tips or with two knives. Mix until fat is about pea-size.
2. Add egg white and ice water 1 tbsp. at a time, until dough is evenly moistened. Form into 2 balls and let it stand for 30 minutes to allow moisture to be evenly distributed.
3. Roll out ball on a lightly floured board thinly (bond paper thin). Cut with round biscuit cutter. Sprinkle each wrapper with flour before stacking them.
